ILCA 7 and ILCA 6 Finnish Masters Championships
Date: 29th-30th July 2023
Location: Nagu, Finland
Experience the thrill of competitive sailing at the ILCA 7 and ILCA 6 Finnish Masters Championships! Set against the stunning backdrop of Nagu's scenic harbor, this prestigious event brings together sailing enthusiasts from all over. Whether you're a seasoned sailor or new to the sport, this championship offers an exhilarating experience for all.
Program:
The race office will be open on Friday, 28th July from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, 29th July from 8:00 AM. On Saturday, there will be a skipper meeting held outside the race office at 10:15 AM. The aim is to complete six races, with three races scheduled each day. The first race of the day will begin at 11:55 AM. After the races, participants can relax and unwind with showers and sauna facilities. Join us for the regatta dinner starting at 7:00 PM, where daily first prize ceremonies and a delightful social program await. On Sunday, the first race will start at 10:55 AM.
Eligibility:
Sailors born no later than 29th July 1993 are eligible to participate. Please note that the Apprentice age group starts at 30 years of age. For other age groups, the sailor must reach the lower age limit during the year 2023.
Classes and Age Groups:
ILCA 7 (Standard): Apprentice (30-44), Masters (45-54), Grand Masters (55-64).
ILCA 6 (Radial): Apprentice (30-44), Masters (45-54), Grand Masters (55-64), Great Grand Masters (65-74), Legends (75+). The best Lady sailor will receive a prize like any other age group.

To secure your spot in the championships, register yourself on Manage2Sail.com before July 25th, 2023, at 8:00 PM.
The entry fee is €50 and should be paid to the Nagu Segelsällskap bank account (IBAN FI89 5560 0940 0015 80 / BIC OKOYFIHH) by the registration deadline. For late registrations, the entry fee is €70. Participants must be members of the Finnish ILCA Federation or the ILCA Federation in their native country. Each participant needs to sail with a boat displaying an individual sail number.
